Our special event is a social, warm and inclusive event. We welcome people in wheelchairs, people with Dementia, and we’d like to reach isolated people in our community.

If you’d like to be involved as a musician, a baker, a dancer, or can or just come for fun, please get in touch.  We are also looking for anyone who can lend their skills in knitting, crocheting and any other crafts-based activities to the event.

If you know someone who would benefit from such an event, please let us know as we may be able to help them get to us.

Admittance is now free, but you can make a donation towards the baking if you feel you would like to support it.

Dementia friendly.  Disabled access.

The Tea Dance has its own Facebook page where you can see the line up, photos and hear news about it. Please visit and share.  https://www.facebook.com/pages/West-Norwood-Tea-Dance/316095418589678

Bazaar – Sun 5th April

Starting on 5th April 2015 and then on the First Sunday of the month West Norwood  is the venue for the hugely successful West Norwood Feast. Here at The Portico Gallery we hold an Arts and Crafts Bazaar between 10am and 4pm showcasing  a vast array of local talent. The event will showcase the variety of organisations, individuals and suppliers of West Norwood. Everything from high end chocolate to the most up-to-date urban fashions. Many of the local South London artists also have pitches so if you are looking for a reasonably priced piece of art this is the place to come to. There is always a bargain to be had.

Quiz your potential local MPs
And as a special pre-election extra, candidates for the Parliamentary set of Dulwich and West Norwood will be at The Portico Gallery.  This is a chance for locals to quiz your prospective MP’s on issues that matter to you – on your terms.  From 12 noon until 2pm.
