The event is hosted by Ceilidh Tree featuring foot stomping fiddles and guest caller Chris Faulkner to show you the moves. Delight in the classic scottish dances including Strip The Willow, Dashing White Sergeant and The Gay Gordons alongside some of our raucous favourites like Djatchko Kolo, Ninepins and Suicide Square – no prior dancing experience required!
We’re also welcoming the acclaimed Edinburgh Tattoo bagpiper Calum Galleitch who has performed for members of the Royal family and will be piping in the haggis for us! We’ve also got scottish orator Kevin McGlue to rouse the spirit of the great Burns with the Address and Ode To The Haggis whilst the said “chieftain of the pudding race” will be served up by fab local deli Beamish & McGlue alongside the requisite neaps and tatties!
There’ll also be whiskey bar, mulled wine, scrumpy & craft ales to keep you reeling… Support comes from trad troupe The Green Ravens.
