London’s funnest ceilidh night set sails upon the good ship Portico for a rollicking night of sea themed dances with Ceilidh Tree (www.ceilidhtree.co.uk – “Fantastic music” – Irish Post) + pirate caller to show you the moves alongside and one of the UK’s foremost sea shanty choirs! Expect dances such as The Whirlpool, Mad Eric’s Favourite, Walk The Plank and The Sea Serpent! The infamous Sea Shanty Choir (www.tradacademy.co.uk) will be showcasing rousing songs from the golden age of sail, led by accomplished sailor Pete Truin – they have won over audiences throughout Europe with their stirring arrangements of traditional sea shantys. Prize for best dressed wenches, mermaids, pirates and cap’ns! Full bar with grog, rum punch and scrumpy, plus hot food by Beamish & McGlue to keep you reeling!
